The QEI DAS Switch Controllers

 

The DSC-9060 and DSC-9070 are two versions of Cooper DAS Switch controllers built by QEI and available now. They offer an economic and versatile approach to controlling Cooper DAS Line Switches.

Based on reliable and field proven QEI 6ACP5 and 6DIO Processor Boards.

Capable of LOCAL Control, REMOTE control via communications with a Control Center and, in the case of the DSC-9060, also capable of AUTOMATIC Sectionalizing Switch control.

Upgrade Options available for these units include Ethernet Communications, multiple protocol options, and user programmable logic.

The DSC-9060 with Automatic Sectionalizer Control includes 3-Phase Current Sensing.
In addition to switch position, 3-Phase current measurements can be transmitted to Master Station or Control Center.
Sectionalizer settings and operating parameters can be remotely set / adjusted from Control Center.
When used as an Automatic Sectionalizer, the DSC-9060 can be configured to operate based on:
• Number of breaker operations only, or • Detection of Fault Current AND number of breaker operations
Use the DSC-9070 when your installation requires simple local and/or remote control of the Cooper DAS Switches with no Automatic Sectionalizer and no analog inputs. Specifications:
