QEI Commissions a Remote Intelligent Gateway (RIG) Replacement Solution with AGC at Milford Power
Springfield, NJ, June 24th, 2009 -QEI Inc. is pleased to announce the commissioning of a Remote Intelligent Gateway (RIG) Replacement Solution at Milford Power in Milford, CT. QEI worked closely with Milford Power and ISO New England to commission a custom tailored solution ensuring a smooth transition from Milford Power’s old RIG. According to ISO New England, this was the first RIG replacement to be commissioned which included Automatic Generator Control (AGC).
QEI’s solution was based on our field-proven ePAQ-9100 Multifunction Gateway, part of QEI’s Sentinel-21 Family of Substation and Feeder Automation Products. For more information on the ePAQ-9100 Multifunction Gateway, visit
