QEI’s Generous Donation to Hurricane Helene Relief Efforts
QEI proudly concluded its 2024 International User Group Conference with a heartfelt gesture, pledging a generous donation to the American Red Cross Hurricane Helene Fund. The donation aims to aid families and communities affected by the widespread devastation caused by Hurricane Helene across the Southeastern United States.
The User Group Conference, held from September 29th to October 1st in Charlotte, North Carolina, brought together industry professionals, consultants, and engineers for three days of learning, collaboration, and innovation in the field of automation, SCADA and ADMS systems. However, in the days leading up to the event, Hurricane Helene struck several regions across the Southeast, destroying homes, roads, and businesses, and leaving many homeless. As a result, several of QEI’s registered attendees from the affected areas were unable to attend the conference.
Recognizing the magnitude of the disaster and its impact on customers and communities, QEI made the decision to make a donation to the Red Cross to support relief efforts. The funds will help provide emergency shelter, food, and essential services to families as they rebuild their lives in the aftermath of the storm.
The donation is part of QEI’s ongoing commitment to giving back to the communities it serves and supporting those in need during times of crisis. QEI encourages others in the industry to join the effort to provide assistance to those affected by this disaster.
For those wishing to support the relief efforts, donations can be made directly to the American Red Cross via their official website or through their designated Hurricane Helene Fund.
