QTrace Analytics

QTrace Analytics connects to various configurations of the QEI 6ACP6 to display and record power information such as transients, harmonics, power losses/failures, etc. Analog data is collected on up to fourteen inputs referred to as Channels. The number of analog inputs is based on the application. Typically, DC applications (DCTrace) have twelve channels and AC applications (two-feeder and three-feeder) have up to fourteen. Although the 6ACP6 has different applications in both AC and DC environments, the manner in which the QTrace Analytics Software is utilized is very similar.

The 6ACP6, whether in an AC or DC application has the capability of recording data on the channels based on events. In the DC application this is based on trigger points (status change 0 to 1) while in the AC application these events are faults or thresholds which have been violated. This captured data contains up to 8000 samples per channel (configurable in ConfigWiz 2.0) at a rate of 2000 samples per second. Streaming data on the 6ACP6 for all of the channels can be performed at 2000 samples per second using the QTrace Analytics Software. Continuous recording on all the channels can be done at a user defined rate up to 2000 samples per second using the QTrace Recorder supplied with the QTrace Analytics Software, up to 24 hours can be recorded per file.

QTrace Analytics can stream the live data onto a user-friendly graphical display, display the recorded data caused by the events or display the 24 hour recorded data. QTrace Analytics allows users to customize the graphical display to aid the user in analyzing the data on each channel. The data can further be printed or saved to a file for future reference.
