OMS can predict future outages and reduce outage duration by locating the fault rapidly while giving enough information for making accurate decisions about the operation of the network.

OMS displays outage data and provides an easy-to-read, real-time overview of the network’s status. The graphical user interface offers fully customizable tabular and graphical displays including configurable map layers for visualizing the connectivity model. Optionally, a user can load cartographic maps previously stored in the database or from the Google platform through Google MapsTM.

QConnect OMS can estimate when power will be restored.

QConnect OMS can automatically generate an Estimated Restoration Time (ETR) as soon as an outage is confirmed. Instead of relying on manual estimates, ETR analyzes your utility's own historical outage data to provide realistic restoration predictions that become more accurate over time. The result is improved customer communication, fewer repeat calls, better crew coordination, and increased confidence during outage restoration.

And as more outage history becomes available, the estimates continue to improve.
