eXP-9430 Communication Port Expander

Expand Your Substation Data Concentrator and Provide Secure Access for your Entire Enterprise

The eXP-9430 is a compact addition to your ePAQ-9410/9420/9425 Multifunction Gateway which expands the number of serial or IP ports for access to additional devices or IEDs.

Housed in a 19” width enclosure with a 1U footprint, the eXP-9430 has all front access connections for convenient rack or panel mounting.This allows for easy expansion into available station house space.

Convertible Communications Ports for Flexible Installations

The eXP-9430 provides 16 additional ports which are convertible RS-232 or RS-485 allocated on a per port basis. Optionally, these may be provided as eight Serial FiberPorts with eight ST (multimode) or SC (single mode) connections. 

The 10/100 BaseTX connection is through a standard RJ-45 connection, with the 100 BaseFX interface using standard ST fiber connectors.
